Rome’s art agenda

If you want to immerse yourself in the Beauty of the Eternal City, Eitch Borromini is the best place to do it from – in every way and with all senses. From the visible Navona Square to the underground one, of the antique Dioclaziano’s Stadium; from the architectural works – starting with our own building – to the sculptural ones in the Square or reachable around us; from the nearby antique and modern Art collections to the skyline from our Rooftop, the fine fragrances chosen for our environments and the flavours of “Borromini terrace” – the Art Gallery Restaurant that we have told you on these pages.
Past, present and future in the same space in the heart of Rome. City which, from now to the next Spring, houses a very special tour and ten exhibitions that we went to discover for you. In the closing time order, to let you plan as best as possible your ‘Roman holidays’ and your stay at Eitch.

The time travel
Until the 31st of December 2023, at the Imperial Forums archeological area, the most “adventurous” guests can enjoy a real moving show, on board a silent and ecological of 16 seats, through the masterpieces of the antique City as they appeared two thousand years ago.
We are talking about original architectures’ splendid 3D reconstructions on the screens applied to the windows while a system of tendons allows you to compare present and past buildings. And we are talking abour a patent thanks to which it is possible to synchronize velocity and position in the real and virtual space, to reproduce every move and every curve of the vehicle.
Visor free technology, three GPS, a surface laser and much more, to take you from Venezia Square and the Forums to Circus Maximus and the Colosseum imperial Rome.

The ten exhibitions

Until March 31st, at the Next Museum, the first multimedia Van Gogh exhibition, with a visit route of more than 1.000 square metres through 50 works reproduced with Virtual Reality and accompanied by classical music: more than an exhibition, an experience of true immersion in the works.
Last but not least, at the Bonaparte Mansion until April the 1st - and 100 years after his arrival in Rome, where he would live for a long time – the largest Escher exhibition ever done so far. With more than 300 famous and unknown works, including the ‘Emblemata’ and the 12 Roman nocturnes.
